1.97 lakh to write Jipmer entrance

According to a Jipmer release on Saturday, the examination would be conducted in two shifts across the country in 291 examination venues spread in 130 cities for filling up of 200 MBBS seats. Out of the 200 seats, 150 are for Jipmer Puducherry campus and the rest are for Karaikal campus. A total 1,925 candidates will appear in seven centres in Puducherry alone. The results are expected to be published on June 20, the release said.
