Decomposed body of youth found in house

Dinesh, son of Murali, a goldsmith, was unemployed for a year after completing his diploma. Police said Dinesh became addicted to alcohol, which led to frequent quarrels at home with his father. His mother had died some time ago. Dinesh used to drink and stay away from home. In the last few days, Murali had gone out of town for work. 

Meanwhile, neighbours grew suspicious as foul smell emanated from the house of Murali. On Monday, locals informed the police about it. The cops, who came to the house, broke open the door and found the partially-decomposed body of Dinesh hanging from the ceiling fan. Police recovered the body and sent it to the Vellore Government Medical College Hospital for post-mortem. Katpadi police have registered a case and are investigating. They are probing whether the youth had committed suicide.
