PMK questions delay in TNPSC Group I results
The Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) has questioned the delay over publishing results of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) Group-I and suspected conspiracy to commit irregularities by the government.

PMK founder S Ramadoss said, “It has been seven months, since candidates appeared for the Group-I written examination. However, the government has been deliberately delaying the publication of results without attributing any valid reasons.”
Pointing out that as many as 1.38 lakh aspirants had taken the exam on February 19, 2017, of which 4,602 candidates appeared for written examinations held thereafter, Ramadoss said, “The TNPSC has never declared results on time and it affects candidates, who also wish to appear for civil service examination held by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).”
“The government should sense the fact that most of the candidates from rural areas, who appear for the UPSC examination, have to bear expenses for staying in big cities like Chennai, Madurai and Coimbatore and since there has been delay in publishing results, many positions in important departments are lying vacant affecting the government machinery,” Ramadoss added.
He also sought the government to clear the controversies over the TNPSC examinations held last year and allay fear of candidates, who wrote the examination this year and ensure utter transparency while declaring results.
