TTV instructs cadre in Kerala to help students from state

In a statement here, Dhinakaran said he had appointed party men to take care of the students and came out with a list of phone numbers for the students to contact for help. He said the students could call the numbers 9363109303, 9994211705 if the centres are in Alappuzha, Ernakulam, Kannur, Kozhikode, Malappuram, Palakkad and Thrisur. 

For the centres at Thiruvanathapuram, Kollam and Kottayam, the students could call 8903455757 and 7373855503 to seek accommodation and guidance to the centres. 

Describing the activities of CBSE as a reflection of anti-Tamil attitude of the Centre, he said the CBSE, which is repeating that the examinations are computerised should understand that it is not handling machines, but students and their future. He warned that CBSE should change its attitude and assured that his party would continue to protest against NEET. 

Recalling that all the parties were opposed to NEET since it would affect the rural students, he said the Centre ignored the opposition and the state government was unconcerned. The Centre had added to the woes of Tamil Nadu students by allocating centres in Kerala and Rajasthan, he added.
