CM Palaniswami may use rift to his advantage, says Jeyanandh
As divisions emerge in the extended family of VK Sasikala, jailed aide of late CM J Jayalalithaa, her nephew Jeyanandh Dhivakaran, admitted that CM Edappadi K Palaniswami could exploit the opportunity.

Asked if he was voicing the concerns of the CM, Jeyanandh said he does not need to lend his voice for anyone else. “The CM will surely use this rift to his advantage,” he said, and added, “It is Dhinakaran who had been using (disqualified Perambur MLA) Vetrivel as his proxy.”
Explaining their separation from Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AMMK), Jeyanandh said the exit was necessitated by the actions of TTV. “We never wanted to leave. But we had no option,” he said. He alleged that TTV was trying to change the identity of Sasikala by offering her a role in AMMK. “AIADMK is the initials (identity) of Sasikala. When she went to prison, she had handed over the party called AIADMK, its two leaves and the party flag to Dhinakaran. Today,, Dhinakaran has made that AIADMK non-existent and is trying to launch AMMK and trying to include her in it,” he said.
