TTV terms new front an outcome of frustration
Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam deputy general secretary TTV Dhinakaran made light of his uncle Dhivakaran’s move of forming a front saying the latter was driven by anger and frustration.

“He is speaking out of anger and frustration. I don’t want to waste my time (by responding to his move),” he said when reporters asked about Dhivakaran’s new outfit.
Meanwhile, Dhinakaran, who faced protests from a group of people when he visited his constituency in RK Nagar on Sunday, said those who protested against him were AIADMK workers belonging to presidium chairman E Madhusudhanan.
During his visit, a crowd raised slogans against him charging that he had distributed Rs 20 notes to them with the promise of giving Rs 10,000 for each vote during the byelection. They were later dispersed by the police after warning from Dhinakaran that his supporters would be forced to ‘deal with them.’
He said, “Neither myself nor my supporter Vetrivel had distributed the notes and promised them to give money. First of all, will people trust such promises especially when the ruling party had distributed Rs 6,000 for each vote. If the people voted for money, they will have supported the ruling party. Those who had lost the elections are trying to discredit my victory and defame the people,” he added. Besides, Dhinakaran said the verdict on the disqualification of 18 MLAs would be delivered soon. “As soon as the judgment is given, the state government will be brought down and Amma government will be formed,” he added.
