Prime Minister reluctant to meet us, charges DMK
Reiterating that they would ‘meet’ Prime Minister Narendra Modi with black flags when he visits Tamil Nadu next week, DMK working president MK Stalin on Saturday said they have planned the protest as the PM failed to meet delegations from the state.

Speaking to reporters at the airport before leaving for Tiruchy, Stalin said, “The Prime Minister is not ready to meet anyone. He did not respect the resolution of either the all-party meeting or Tamil Nadu Assembly. We have planned to wave black flags at the PM only because he would not meet us.”
“We will gladly accept any case booked against us and proudly accept any punishment awarded to us on Cauvery issue because there is no chance of us being awarded punishment like former chief minister Jayalalithaa or people who were convicted along with her,” Stalin remarked.
Suggesting that the Opposition parties would meet again after completing the yatra on April 13, Stalin accused the ruling AIADMK of surrendering completely to the Centre to stay in power.
