Girl weds lover who lost legs in mishap

Shilpa (23) of Masinagudi near Ooty and Vijay (23) of Vaniyambadi were in love from their college days, while in Coimbatore.  On January 23, when he was on the way to attend a job interview at Bengaluru, Vijay accidentally slipped from the train near Bangarapet. Both his legs were crushed under the wheels. 

After initial treatment at a hospital in Bengaluru, he was shifted to the Vaniyambadi Government Hospital. 

Vijay, who lost his personal belongings in the accident, remained incommunicado with Shilpa for some time. 

Meanwhile, Shilpa started searching for him and finally came to know that he was under treatment in Vaniyambadi Government Hospital. 

After rushing to Vaniyambadi, a determined Shilpa married her boyfriend, much to the surprise of the hospital staff.
