HCP on Karunanidhi’s eldest son dismissed

A division bench comprising Justice CT Selvam and Justice N Sathish Kumar before whom the HCP moved by MKM Sheeba Rani of Saidapet, Chennai claiming to be Muthu’s daughter come up for hearing, dismissed the plea after holding that any other right of the petitioner must be agitated before the appropriate forum. 

Noting that her attempts to meet her father have been constantly thwarted by her step brother, she expressed apprehensions about her father’s well-being and whether he was alive or not at the first place. She had sought for a direction to produce her father, who is 75 years old and set him at liberty.
