The process involves interested candidates from the Mandram applying for the posts, after which they will go through a series of interviews stating their capabilities and aspirations. Rajinikanth will finally sign off on all appointments after going through the results of the interviews. The consultations and internal elections for a number of districts have been completed thus far.Â
However, the meetings took place at the Raghavendra Kalyana Mandapam in Kodambakkam under the supervision of chief coordinator VM Sudhakar and state secretary Raju Mahalingam. Henceforth, the election process will be shifting to the respective districts, sources said. The decision to shift the consultations to the ground zero in the districts comes on Rajinikanth’s personal orders. The internal elections are expected to be held in Thanjavur and Tiruchy on March 6 and 7, Perambalur and Ariyalur on March 8 and Nagapattinam and Thiruvarur on March 9. Rajinikanth will interact with fans at various districts through video conferencing, the sources said.Â
Meanwhile, Rajini is also set to inaugurate a statue of former CM MG Ramachandran at ACS Medical College and Hospital on March 5. He signaled his intention to enter politics at the same venue.
