Youth posts suicide bid photo on FB

Vignesh Babu, who was working in a private automobile company near Chennai after completing his Master’s degree in engineering, committed the act when his parents had gone to a temple. 

His friends after seeing the post wasted no time and alerted the police, who acted swiftly, rescued the engineering graduate, identified as Vignesh Babu, and rushed him to a hospital. 

After receiving the alert from police, fire and rescue department personnel broke open the front door of the house to rescue him. 

After initial treatment at a private hospital, Vignesh was shifted to Madurai Government Rajaji Hospital, where his condition was said to be stable. Police suspect love failure might have forced Vignesh to resort to the extreme step.
