Seeman, Sarath Kumar condemn Budget 2018 together
There was no specific project for Tamil Nadu in the Union Budget of 2018 and the demands of the people of the state were not met, said Naam Tamilar Katchi leader Seeman in Madurai on Friday.
Madurai
Seeman along with All India Samathuva Makkal Katchi leader Sarath Kumar addressed reporters together at Madurai airport.Â
Seeman said that one of the main demands of people of Tamil Nadu is to set up a separate ministry for fisheries at the Centre and they were expecting an announcement in the budget, but there was no such announcement. Also there was no favourable announcement for farmers in the budget.Â
When farmers could not decide the rate for their produce in the first four years of the BJP rule how will they decide in the last one year.Â
Also, the budget has nothing special for common man and even the people in North India are not ready to believe the words of the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, said Seeman.Â
Sarath Kumar said that there are no separate Railway related projects for the state in the budget. Both Sarath Kumar and Seeman said that the meeting at the airport was accidental, but in future they plan to collaborate frequently.Â
