CB-CID inspector misbehaves with woman on train, arrested

According to police, the woman, whose husband Arvind Kumar works in Sulur Air Force in Coimbatore, had a middle birth in the air conditioned compartment. The cop, Chandrasekaran, 57 offered his lower birth and instead took the middle birth, while Arvind Kumar slept in the upper birth. Past mid night, when the train crossed Salem, the cop in a drunken mood attempted to misbehave with the woman. She woke up shocked and raised an alarm. Immediately her husband warned the cop for his behaviour. 

As the train reached the Erode station at around 3 am, Arvind Kumar and his wife got down and lodged a complaint with the railway police. By then, the train had left the station. A police team rushed to Coimbatore and nabbed the cop.  

Police inquiries revealed that the accused M Chandrasekaran was a special sub inspector with the CBCID branch in Udhagamandalam. The Erode police registered a case and arrested Chandrasekaran. He was then taken to Erode for further inquiries.
