College HoD held for harassing assistant professor in Tiruchy

It is said, Pasupathi (55), head of the department of Chemistry of Urumu Dhanalakshmi College here was harassing assistant professor Arunadevi (42) for the past two years. As he bothered her indirectly, she did not take it seriously.

However, taking advantage of her silence, Pasupathi reportedly sent a few porn videos to Arunadevi. Unable to take it any longer, the professor took up the issue with the College administration and also lodged a complaint with the Superintendent of Police. It is said, that her complaint was not effected.

Therefore, she approached IG Varadharajulu on Wednesday. Based on the complaint, the IG ordered for an investigation and later, Tiruverumbur All women police arrested Pasupathi and produced him before the court.
