Speaking to reporters at Poes Garden earlier in the day, the actor elaborated that he was just referring to a political approach that was free of caste, creed and religious influences in pursuit of truth and righteousness.
Later, during an informal media meet, Rajinikanth also clarified about the famous ‘mudra’ symbol that had appeared on his website as well as the fan meets – and which is assumed to be the crest/ logo of his to-be-announced party. Explaining what it meant, he said, “It is a yoga mudra – and the serpent surrounding the hand depicts the concept of divinity.”
The actor, however, refused to take any further questions on his agenda, political team or policies - and said that he would be happy to hold press meets and interviews as the journey went forward. Rajinkanth’s brother Sathyanarayana Rao Gaekwad told the media earlier that he expected him to reveal his party’s name and symbol on Pongal day.
