AIADMK removes nine more TTV Dinakaran supporters from party posts
The AIADMK leadership on Tuesday stripped nine MLAs supporting RK Nagar legislator TTV Dinakaran of their party posts even while they would continue to be members of the party.

The action comes a day ahead of the party’s high-level meeting on Wednesday to discuss the party’s strategy in the Assembly session to be convened on January 8. The MLAs, who lost their party posts, include M Kothandapani, C Jayanthi Padmanabhan, VT Kalaiselvan, K Kathirkamu, SG Subramanian, S Mariappan Kennedy, S Muthaiah, R Sundarraj and K Uma Maheswari.Â
The action is being viewed as a warning to MLAs who may be considering switching over to Dinakaran’s camp.Â
