Kamal Haasan in no hurry to meet 100-day deadline
While Rajinikanth is set to announce his decision on entering politics by December 31, Kamal Hassan, the other top Kollywood star who is expected to announce his political launch by Jan 1, 2018 might take more time, according to sources.

On September 22, Kamal had announced to national media that he would be making his political entry in 100 days. Despite RK Nagar bypoll creating a huge buzz across the state, Kamal remains silent as the 100-day deadline falls on January 1.
Kovai R Thangavelu, head of Kamal Haasan Narpani Iyakkam (Fans Welfare Association), said, “Kamal sir is in the US and will return to India by the end of this week. His current focus in on Vishwaroopam 2.”
