Ramnad Zamin feud: Police begin probe
Chennai police have registered an FIR and begun the probe on a complaint in connection with the alleged detention of the foster son of Ramnad zamin family and taking away of Rs 33 crore worth antiques from his house in Alwarpet by other legal heirs.

The Teynampet police registered a case under six sections, including cheating, kidnapping, illegal detention and attempt to murder. Following that, two persons were picked up for questioning, police sources said.
RSV Karthik Sethupathi (38) along with his wife in a complaint to the Chennai police on Monday alleged assault, threat and illegal detention by other heirs of Ramnad Zamin. He also added, “Other heirs don’t consider him as a legal heir since he was adopted.”
