The government submitted that the centres would be established at panchayat union levels.

Eight post graduate teachers would be deputed in each centre to provide coaching to students from government and government aided schools.

In addition to this, a centralised studio connecting all the 412 centres would be established.

The government submitted that authorities are in the process of procuring required software for the purpose through public tender.

It also submitted that necessary resource materials would be made available covering all the competitive exams.

Each centre would be provided 65 such guides at a cost of Rs 2000 each.

Justice N Kirubakaran took exception to the submission that only 65 books/guides would be provided to each centre.

Instead, the judge wanted government to discuss the probability of providing such books to each student enrolled in such centres and posted the matter to December 13 for further hearing.

The issue pertains to a plea moved to ban all protests against the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) exam which reportedly saw a sudden increase after the death of a medical aspirant Anita.
