TTV's close associate injured in mishap

Sidelined AIADMK leader TTV Dinakaran's closeN associate V Pugazhendi was injured when the car in which he was travelling hit the railings of a bridge here, on Thursday, police said. Pugazhendi, a party functionary from Karnataka was coming from Bengaluru when the car driver lost control of the vehicle which rammed into the railings of the bridge near the district Collectorate. After initial treatment at a local hospital,he was shifted to a hospital in Madurai, police said. Pugazhendi, sided with Dinakaran after the group led by Chief Minister EK Palaniswami revolted against him and deposed general secretary VK Sasikala.
