HM thrashed for molesting teenage girl

Residents of the small village were enraged when the girl’s family informed them of the school headmaster’s behaviour. As the 13-year-old girl, studying in Class 8, was late to school since she was suffering from fever, she was accosted by Gnanasekaran who took her to a separate room and molested her for nearly two hours.

Escaping from the headmaster’s clutches, the girl ran home crying and after informing her parents of what transpired, is said to have fainted. Informed of Gnansekaran’s behaviour, the villagers entered the school campus as a group, tied up Gnansekaran and thrashed him soundly.

Four teachers who tried to come to the aid of their head were also given the same treatment. The mob then broke electronics equipment including the computer, printer and the fan in the room before taking the chastised Ganasekaran in an autorickshaw to the Ambur taluk police station. Police registered a case and are investigating further.
