Upset Thanjai student hangs self in classroom

An average student in academics, Sathish Babu (17), son of Saravanakumar of Nadupadugai in Valappakkudi, came to his school around 8 am, since he had a special morning study hour. He was studying on the ground floor with his classmates and later told his friends that he was going to the class room on the first floor. 

Later, when the students came to their class room, they were shocked to find Sathish Babu hanging from a hook on the roof. They informed the Principal Tamilselvi and she alerted the police and education officials. Police officers, including the SP, ADSP and DSP, rushed to the school. 

Meanwhile, the officials of the office of the Inspector of Matriculation Schools said that their inquiries revealed parents, who were worried about his poor performance, might have scolded him.
