Minister reviews TNPSC recruitment timetable

Jayakumar, who also holds the portfolio of personnel and administrative reforms, also pored over the preparedness ahead of the issuance of the recruitment time table, a release said. 

The Minister sought to ensure reservation for those, who studied through Tamil in all the examinations conducted by the TNPSC. The meeting also brought up the discussion of releasing the recruitment calendar well in advance so that it can help those who wish to join the state government services to prepare adequately for the examinations. 

Jayakumar also insisted that there should be necessary measures in place to release the preliminary exam results, main exam results, interview results and final results within a year’s time from the date of recruitment notification, while recording the suggestions from officials in this regard.
