Dengue claims three lives in Pudukkottai

It is said, Jayarani (47), a teacher and resident of Kottaipattinam in the district had high fever for the past few days. 

She was admitted to a private hospital in Tiruchy and from there, she was shifted to Mahatma Gandhi Medical College Hospital on Sunday where she succumbed. Bairavi (4) from the same place who was undergoing treatment at Manamelkudi, died on Sunday.

Similarly, A Uma (52) of Pudukkottai died of high fever on Monday, despite treatment. All three victims had symptoms of dengue.
