Maghendhran is new head of fire service department
The State on Friday transferred and posted Director General of Police KP Maghendhran, Vigilance (TANGEDCO) as the new head of Fire and Rescue Service. Additional DGP Dr C Sylendra Babu, is the new Chief of Railway Police in place of Srilakshmi Prasad, who has been shifted and posted as ADGP, Vigilance, TANGEDCO.

Inspector General of police K Shankar, Enforcement, has been posted as the new Commissioner of Police, Salem city.
According to a release, Ashutosh Shukla, ADGP, Enforcement has been posted as Chief of Prisons, in the place of Sylendra Babu while ADGP Rajesh Das, Special Officer, TN transport Corporation, takes charge as ADGP, Enforcement. Sunil Kumar, ADGP, Crimes, has been made Member, TN Uniformed Services Recruitment Board in the place of Karan Singha, who has been transferred and posted as the new ADGP, Traffic and Road Safety. Amaresh Pujari, ADGP, Traffic and Road Safety will be the new ADGP, Crimes.
