He then surrendered in Judicial Magistrate Court no.5.Â
When the petition was heard by Judge MV Muralidharan on Thursday, he directed the judge of Judicial Magistrate Court no.6 to appear. Later, Muralidharan told the Magistrate that they cannot expect an accused to carry ID cards while surrendering and added that the court procedures should be carried out after the surrender of the accused.
