Inaugurating a new circular bus service from Kovilpatti to neighbouring villages, such as Thonukal, Vanaramutti and Jameen Devarkulam, the Minister said that the service is set to facilitate school and college students, who are studying in the institutions in Kovilpatti and commuting from the neighbouring villages.Â
After the launch of the bus service, Kadambur Raju addressed the media. When asked about the recent statement of Minister Dindigul Sreenivasan saying that no one had met Jayalalithaa at the Apollo Hospitals, where she was undergoing treatment, Raju replied that Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami had announced to set up a judicial commission to probe the death of Jayalalithaa and until then ministers and Dinakaran should refrain from commenting on the issue. If they had anything to tell about the death of Jayalalithaa, they should depose before the Commission and can tell whatever they want to.Â
When asked about the status of Vedha Nilayam, he replied that the house in which Jayalalithaa lived would be converted into a memorial. Also a memorial would be constructed at the place where Jayalalithaa was buried, said Raju.
