Rameswaram students observe NSS day at Kalam memorial
As a mark of paying tributes to the late President Abdul Kalam, the 49th NSS Day was celebrated in front of the Kalam Memorial at Pei Karumbu, Rameswaram, on Sunday.

Teachers and over 100 students from three schools in Rameswaram and Tangachimadam assembled in front of the memorial in the morning. All of them including the teachers took a pledge to conserve nature by avoiding plastics, to save environment and to keep the surroundings clean. After taking the pledge, all of them cleaned the main road in front of the memorial.
