Speaking at a meeting here, Dinakaran said, since the hypocritical government that allowed NEET for medical admission resulted in the death of medical aspirants like Anitha, it is the duty of everyone in the state to fight against NEET to ensure social justice.

Stating that the present government is not Jayalalithaa government, Dinakaran said, Sasikala recommended O Panneerselvam to ensure MGR rule in the state but he became close to arch rival DMK and so Edappadi K Palaniswami was given the chance. “It was EPS who suggested Sasikala to have both the party and the government under her control and so she accepted the suggestion. But due to the Supreme Court verdict, she could not become the Chief Minister,” recalled Dinakaran.

“If Sasikala wanted, she would have recommended me to become the Chief Minister soon after the verdict, but she never wanted and liked to give the chance to the party men and so it was offered to EPS and he has shown his true colours now,” Dinakaran said.

He also added, there are 21 warriors with them to save the party. The Speaker had disqualified 18 of them who really fought to save the party and want to prove the majority on the floor, Dinakaran said.
