Eight cases filed against Nanjil Sampath in 2 days
Ever since AIADMK Deputy Propaganda Secretary and TTV Dinakaran loyalist Nanjil Sampath criticised BJP leader Tamilisai Sounderarajan and accused BJP for the current plight of the state, several police complaints are being filed against him.

In the last two days, eight cases have been filed against him at different police stations. Based on the complaints filed at Foreshore Estate, Ambattur Industrial Estate, Pallavaram and Shankar Nagar on Tuesday, police booked Nanjil Sampath under Protection of Women against Atrocities Act. Meanwhile, fresh complaints were registered against him at Velachery, Saidapet, Tambaram and Chromepet.
In Tambaram, BJP functionary Ashok Jain filed a complaint alleging that Nanjil Sampath criticised PM Narendra Modi.
On Tuesday, a group of BJP men gathered at Redhills and raised slogans against Nanjil Sampath.
An effigy of him was also burnt.
