Tirupparankundram MLA Bose switches sides in a single day

In the morning, he met Dinakaran and expressed his support to him, while in the evening, he expressed support to CM Edappadi K Palaniswami at Madurai. 

Bose, who was elected as Tirupparankundram MLA at the recently conducted by-election, had initially supported the faction led by the Chief Minister Edappadi K Palanisamy. 

Later, he switched his loyalty to TTV Dinakaran and expressed his support. However, when Dinakaran arranged a public meeting at Melur near Madurai, the names of all the MLAs of Madurai district, including Bose, were mentioned in the invitation. 

But two days before the meeting, Bose went missing and it was alleged that state Revenue Minister R B Udayakumar had kidnapped Bose. Even Dinkaran had expressed the same view in the meeting. However recently during the inspections of Udayakumar, Bose was seen accompanying him. 

On Sunday, Bose had gone to Theni to attend a marriage and then met Dinakaran.  After meeting, Dinakaran, Bose addressed the media and said, “Now I have come to express my support. Later, more number of MLAs from Madurai would support Dinakaran.” 

He also said that EPS cannot rule by sidelining AIADMK general secretary V K Sasikala and also added that Finance Minister O Panneerselvam should be removed from the party to end all the turmoil. With the support of Bose, the total number of MLAs supporting Dinakaran has increased to 22. 

However, in the evening, Bose switched sides once again and expressed his support to Edappadi K Palaniswami. At a press meet at Madurai, Bose said that he had gone to a marriage function at Theni and had also met Dinakaran at the function. 

Only to respect Dinakaran, he had presented a shawl to him, he stressed. He also said that EPS was appointed by Sasikala and he was doing good. He had earlier promised her that he would protect the rule and keepup the promises made. 

So, he will meet Sasikala at the prison and will get to know her stand. After meeting her, he would take a final stand, said Bose.
