Sources confirmed that the first to arrive was Andipatti MLA Thangatamilselvan at 6 pm, while the others followed suit in what was a repeat of the Koovathur episode back in February.
“They have checked into the Windflower resort and Spa at Chinna Veerampattinam in Aryaankuppam police limits around 6 km from Puducherry town,” a source said. The stay was reportedly arranged by Puducherry Rajya Sabha MP M Gokulakrishnan, a Dinakaran supporter and Vetrivel from Perambur was expected to join them in Puducherry on Wednesday.
Speaking to DT Next, TTV loyalist MLA Thangatamilselvan said, “All of us (18) have come here for a day’s stay only. We will be back in Chennai in a day or two.” Earlier in the day, all the pro Dinakaran MLAs met the Governor and handed over individual letters withdrawing their support to EPS. The letters mentioned that they had lost faith in him and wanted to withdraw support for him.
