Four from Tamil Nadu die in mishap in Andhra Pradesh
Four persons of a family from Tiruchy died in an accident at Ananthapuram in Andhra Pradesh in the wee hours of Monday. While four died on the spot, six sustained severe injuries after the car in which they were travelling hit a median when the driver lost control of the vehicle.

It is said, Pandiaraj (60) of Tiruchy, had an eye surgery recently and had visited his sons Sathish Kumar (34) and Karthik (31) in Andhra Pradesh a few days ago. After visiting a temple at Srisailam on Sunday, the family was on its way back to Ananthapuram.Â
With Sathish Kumar at the wheel, the car was nearing Karaithinnai near Ananthapuram on Monday, when he lost control of the vehicle. It hit the median and rolled on to the road.Â
In the impact, Pandiaraj’s wife Indu (54), relative Jothi Lakshmi (87), son Karthik (31) and grand daughter Pranitha (8) died on the spot while Pandiaraj, Lavanya (28), Maheswari (34), Harsha (3) and Dhatchayini (2) and Sathish Kumar sustained severe injuries.Â
Three persons, including a woman, were killed and three others injured when their car collided with a state transport corporation bus at Porayar on Monday, police said. Â All of them were proceeding to attend a marriage, police said.
