Party still under control of Sasikala: MLA

Speaking outside the residence of party deputy general secretary TTV Dinakaran, he said the AIADMK was under the control of jailed general secretary VK Sasikala.  “The party is fully behind her,” he added. 

Referring to the recent tirade by party MP G Hari, who spoke out against Sasikala, he said “Why should the CM be quiet like PV Narasimha Rao (former congress PM)? He should take action against people like Hari, whose words were inimical to the party.” 

On the held-up merger of the AIADMK factions, he said, “There is enough time to unite even now, but they (the rival faction) should understand that there is a limit to our patience.” 

Referring to Thambidurai’s recent statement in support of NDA’s Presidential candidate Ram Nath Kovind he said, “When Thambidurai was talking to Sasikala, EPS also spoke to her over phone and only after this the support to Kovind was announced.” 

“Ask him to deny this,” he challenged. Stating that he could talk like this only as he had nothing to hide or fear, he said  and added that there were many things, which were not spoken out openly by the party.
