3-year-old Narikuravar girl kidnapped

On the day of the incident the girl’s mother, Sivagami, was selling beads and other trinkets on the platform located opposite to Madurai Government Rajaji Hospial. Police sources said that during the busy hours in the evening three people, including two women, had approached Sivagami on the pretext of buying fancy beads from her. 

While a woman and the man diverted Sivagami’s attention, another elderly woman who had accompanied them had interacted with the child. 

After a few minutes the three people left the spot with the child.
