Rameswaram fisherman goes missing

As the fishing ban is in place, only country boats have been used by fishermen to venture into the sea. The sea too has been rough for the past one week. In these circumstances, a fisherman Edward Francis went to catch crabs on Sunday morning. However, he did not return in the evening as expected. Fellow fishermen launched a search for him and informed the Marine Police. 

On Monday morning, three boats of Marine Police and a boat from Coast Guard launched a search.  By the evening they could only find the dress and nets of Edward. There was no trace of him or his boat.
