The BJP was here on Sunday to take part in an event before heading to Tirupur. Welcoming actor Rajinikanth to politics, she said there is nothing wrong in the actor turning into a politician. She strongly felt that Rajinikanth is a patriot and that his principles are in line with the principles of the BJP. “Let us wait and see if his God wants him to join the BJP or start a new political party,” she added. Meanwhile, condemning the attacks by the police on women fighting for closure of TASMAC outlets, the BJP is planning to take out a mega rally towards the Secretariat on June 18, she announced. She further said that continuance of the AIADMK government depends on their acts.
