Security guard at Jayalalithaa’s Kodanad Estate found murdered
The security guard at late Chief Minister Jayalalithaa’s Kodanad Estate, Om Bahadur was hacked to death by a gang in the early hours of Monday.

The murdered person has been identified as Om Bahadur (52) who was at the tenth gate of the bungalow that reportedly has 13 gates. The other person who escaped with injuries was identified as Krishna Bahadur. The latter has been brought to the Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital.
It is learnt that a ten member gang attacked the duo and tried to enter the bungalow that was about half a kilometre from the place where the victims were attacked with deadly weapons. The gang broke a glass window and tried to enter when others raised an alarm. Hearing this the gang fled the place.
Superintendent of Police, The Nilgiris, Murali Rambha visited the place and conducted preliminary inquiries.
Heavy police deployment at gate ten of Jaya's Kodanad Estate. Five special teams each led by a DSP has been formed to crack the case.
