No one leader or one family rule in Tamil Nadu, says Deputy General Secretary
Upon assuming charge as the AIADMK deputy general secretary, TTV Dinakaran said that there would be no rule by either one person or an exclusive family in Tamil Nadu on Thursday.

At the party HQ on Avvai Shanmugam Salai, he said party general secretary VK Sasikala was nominated to the post as per party rules only.
Informing that all the party works were progressing smooth, he said that treasurer Dindigul Sreenivasan was looking after the accounts.
Dinakaran added that the party’s first enemy was the DMK which was trying to topple the government in the guise of working for the ‘people.’
He charged that the DMK was working with an agenda to create a wrong impression that people of the state were against the AIADMK.
Referring to the present factionalism in the party, he said the O Paneerselvam coterie was not a faction, but only a small group. About his ‘long absence’ from active politics, the deputy general secretary said he kept away as former chief minister Jayalalithaa had instructed him to do so.
Dinakaran expressed the confidence that the AIADMK would win the ensuing parliament elections and also the assembly elections in 2021, he concluded.
Focus on government, Pon Radhakrishnan tells CM
Union Minister Pon Radhakrishnan said that the political instability in the ruling party has ruined Tamil Nadu in the past few months. He wanted the present Chief Minister to focus on health and agriculture more than on protecting his position.
Speaking to reporters in Coimbatore on Thursday, he said that the Centre has a slew of measures to tackle drought and flood. “It is the duty of the state to avail them,” he added.
