DMK to decide its strategy in a meeting today
Even Principal opposition party DMK will hold a high-level strategy meeting on Monday evening even as political situation in the state continues to be fluid with the Governor buying time to take a call on the issue of conducting floor test.

DMK working president MK Stalin will chair the meeting, which will discuss the crisis in the ruling AIADMK. DMK has largely remained a spectator ever since caretaker Chief Minister O Panneerselvam raised the banner of revolt against CM designate V K Sasikala. Stalin, who has been content with urging the Governor to do what was constitutionally right, would discuss his plans at the strategy meet amid speculation that Sasikala might attempt to muster support from the eight Congress MLAs.Â
Meanwhile, state Congress president Su Thirunavukkarasar, who denied reports about Congress extending support to Sasikala, told media persons at Madurai that the ongoing crisis was an internal affair of the AIADMK. Accusing the ruling BJP of creating the political crisis in Tamil Nadu, Thirunavukkarasar said the political crisis would end as soon as the House gets convened.Â
Stating that he had briefed party vice-president Rahul Gandhi about the current political situation in TN, he said Governor has the right to order a floor test and put in place a stable government. Governor should invite the person who has majority. Whether they have been held captive or staying there on their own free will, would be known if the House gets convened.
