Stalin may be executive president

It is only a matter of time, precisely a day, before Stalin is anointed Executive President. Party sources privy to the development, confirmed the elevation and told DTNext that a recovering party president M Karunanidhi, who returned home after undergoing tracheostomy during a weeklong hospitalisation last month, would not attend the General Council.  Sources who described the GC meeting as having ‘one point agenda’ also confirmed that Karunanidhi was too ill to attend the meeting and any other organisational change would be unlikely as incumbent General Secretary K Anbazhagan has refused to make way for Principal Headquarters Secretary Duraimurugan.
