AIADMK cadre climbs mobile tower, asks TVs to show live footage of CM

Police said that he runs a roadside eatery at Kuniyamuthur. On Sunday night he went home in an inebriated condition and kept lamenting over television channels not showing live images of the Chief Minister for nearly 10 weeks. All of a sudden around 2.15 am in the morning, he climbed the 50-feet-tall mobile tower atop a nearby building and threatened to jump off if TV channels failed to show live footage of the Chief Minister. Neighbours alerted the police. One of the neighbours called out to him saying that the   CM was doing well and she was giving a live interview in one of the channels at present. Believing the neighbour’s words he came down.
