Tokyo Olympics: Fouaad Mirza and Seigneur Medicott conclude cross country with 11.20 penalties

India’s Fouaad Mirza astride 15-yar-old Seigneur Medicott posted a score of 11.20 in cross country to finish in the 22nd place among the 61 contenders at Tokyo Olympics on Sunday. The duo’s has a total of 39.20 in the overall standings.

The pair crossed the country course with many obstacles well after the stipulated time of 7: 45 and finished at 8.49 which led them picked up 11.20 time penalties.

Meanwhile, Great Britain’s Oliver Townend and his horse Ballagmor Class head the standing with 23.60 penalites, followed by Germany’s Julia Krajewski and Amanda de B’Neville with 25.60 penalties. Great Britains’ Laura Collett and London 52 came in third with 25.80 India’s first equestrian along with his horse finished among the top 10 in dressage with 28.00 penalties.

The skillful rider and horse have one more event to go through where they will have to finish in the top 25 to qualify to the jumping finals.
