Monty stars in Seshadri Memorial’s success

Batting first, Seshadri Memorial posted a good total of 177 for three in its stipulated overs, thanks to P Ravindrababu’s (82) half-century. Chasing a little less than nine runs per over, Bharath could only muster 126 runs before getting all out. Monty was the wreaker-in-chief for Seshadri Memorial, sending half the opposition batters back to the pavilion.

In another match, R Sivakumar (5/23) came up with a match-winning spell to guide Spring Field CC to an eight-wicket success over Southern Railway Institute (Tambaram).
