Dinesh hits unbeaten century as Parry’s S and RC posts win

Batting first, Parry’s posted 281 for seven on the board, thanks to Dinesh’s 164-ball knock. His match-winning innings was laced with 13 fours and four maximums. Chasing 282 for a win, Sir M Ct M Old Boys could only make 217 for eight in its stipulated overs. B Ram Prakash (4/33) was the best bowler for Parry’s. In a Third Division ‘A’ contest, off-spinner B Arvind (5/27) bagged a five-wicket haul to guide Egmore Recreation Club to an eight-wicket success over Nungambakkam Cricket Club.
