Customs posts straight-sets victory

Customs won by a scoreline of 25-23, 25-15, 25-19 in the contest which lasted an hour and 40 minutes. Tamil Nadu State Volleyball Association (TNSVA) Life President Arjun Durai presided over the inauguration function while Addl. Commissioner of Income Tax, Chennai, S Pandian inaugurated the championship.

The chief guests for the function were Addl. Commissioner of Police, Chennai, P Dhivakar, Joint Commissioner of Income Tax, Chennai, Suresh Periyasamy, Aachi Group of Companies Founder & Chairman A Padma Singh Isaac, Madras High Court Senior Advocate S Thanga Sivan, Romaa Group MD & CEO RVMA Rajan, TNSVA General Secretary AJ Martin Sudhakar, TNSVA Treasurer MP Selvaganesh and TNSVA Joint-Secretary P Kalaiselvan.

Chennai District Volleyball Association Secretary AK Chithraipandian, former India internationals A Dhinakaran and P Jagadesan, Cosco India Chief Marketing Manager Ubaidur Rahman, CDVA Treasurer A Palaniappan and CDVA Associate Secretary C Sree Kesavan were also present on the occasion.
