Tamil Nadu beats Odisha
S Anusha (72 not out) smashed an unbeaten half-century as Tamil Nadu defeated Odisha by 15 runs in the BCCI Senior Women Elite ‘B’ One-Day match at Kandivili in Mumbai on Thursday.

Batting first, Tamil Nadu posted 227 for seven in its stipulated overs, thanks to Anusha’s good work with the bat. Her match-winning knock included nine fours and two sixes. Chasing 228 for a win, Odisha could muster only 212 for nine. L Nethra (3/41) and SB Keerthana (3/46) bagged three wickets each for the winning side.
