Coimbatore bags SS Rajan Trophy
Coimbatore defeated Madurai by six wickets in the TNCA Inter-Districts T20 Tournament summit clash at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in the city on Saturday to bag the SS Rajan Trophy.

Bowling first, the victor restricted runner-up Madurai to 112 for seven in its stipulated overs. Chasing less than run a ball for a win, Coimbatore got past the finish line easily, with 32 balls to spare. J Kousik (41 not out) and K Mani Bharathy (38) were the chief contributors with the bat for the winning side.
TNCA Vice President Ashok Sigamani was the chief guest for the presentation ceremony and handed the prizes to the winner and runner-up.
Brief scores: Madurai 112 for 7 in 20 overs lost to Coimbatore 116 for 4 in 14.4 overs (J Kousik 41*, K Mani Bharathy 38).
