Digvijay Rangi (139) struck a century as Himachal Pradesh posted a mammoth first innings total of 538 against Tamil Nadu in the Colonel CK Nayudu Under-23 Elite B four-day clash at the ICL – Sankar Nagar Ground in Tirunelveli.

Continuing on its Day One score of 312 for three, the away side added another 226 runs on the board, on the second day. Rangi became the second Himachal Pradesh batter to hit a ton after Ravi Thakur (159) had smashed one on the opening day. The former’s innings was laced with 14 fours and five sixes. In reply to the visitor’s huge total, Tamil Nadu was 79 without loss at stumps on Monday.
