Around 30 teams, featuring 360 athletes, are expected to take part in the four-day event. The competition, this year, has attracted competitors from the districts of Chennai, Kancheepuram, Thiruvallur, Coimbatore, Salem, Erode and Thoothukudi. ‘Hoops of Fire’ – an event completely crowd funded by parents, well-wishers and supporters – had 40 teams in the previous edition (2018).
